Flip City Gymnastics introduces Parkour, a combination of free running, gymnastics and agility training all in one where participants move rapidly through an area negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, climbing and flipping. There are many fitness advantages to Parkour (http://www.healthfitnessrevolution.com/top-10-health-benefits-parkour-free-running/) including the full body workout, its ease of picking up the fundamental elements and the ‘thinking outside the box’ perspective needed for success. This urban fitness activity and the skills acquired will teach participants to do flips, vaults and run obstacles while teaching the safe way to execute them. If you’re looking for a cross-training opportunity, much different from the demands of your sport, then may be Parkour is the answer.
