About Us

Our Vision

Our vision is to promote participation in gymnastics as an active lifestyle choice. We strive to promote Gymnastics as a venue for fun, for recreation, for competition, for education, for excellence and for personal improvement.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide all athletes with excellent coaching, in a well-equipped & safe environment, allowing them every opportunity possible to achieve their goals to the highest level.

FlipCity Gymnastics History

Flip City has been teaching gymnastics to kids in the Langley area since 1998 when it was opened by Rusty and Sue Pierce. Since that time, thousands of children have enjoyed high quality instruction and improved their balance, strength, fitness and self-confidence.

Flip City Gymnastics Club was created in June 2007, so that our competitive athletes could receive financial support in attaining their competitive goals, while also helping to promote community involvement in the sport of gymnastics.

The club moved to Walnut Grove in 2011 where it continues to provide competitive and non-competitive instruction in Gymnastics, Trampoline, Hybrid Movement and Cheerleading. The club is now a “non-profit” organization with the ultimate goal of helping each child reach their potential both in sport and in life.

Our Unified Commitment to Inclusion

At Flip City Gymnastics, we believe every athlete deserves to feel safe, respected, and celebrated for who they are. We are committed to fostering an environment where BIPOC youth, LGBTQ+ youth, and youth with physical, developmental, or mental disabilities are welcomed with dignity and supported in their growth.

Our commitment includes:

• Honouring the diverse identities, backgrounds, abilities, and lived experiences of all athletes.
• Ensuring equitable access to participation, opportunities, and leadership pathways in our sport.
• Providing staff training that supports cultural awareness, anti-racism, gender inclusion, and disability-inclusive coaching practices.
• Striving to make our programs, communication, and physical spaces accessible and responsive to a wide range of needs.
• Continuously listening, learning, and improving so every gymnast feels a genuine sense of belonging.

Flip City Gymnastics is dedicated to building a community grounded in kindness, respect, and inclusion, where all youth can flourish in confidence, connection, and pride.
